Renewing a TLS certificate on Exchange 2007 hub role server

Does anyone have a step by step instructions on how to renew the TLS certificate on Exchange 2007 hub servers?
Do I need to purchase the certificate for just the FQDN or both the hostname and the FQDN?
What is the command line in powershell to renew it?
