HP laserjet p2035n and HP laserjet 1320 both on separate XP machines will not show on Remote Desktop Server

I have 2 users both running Windows XP SP3.  One has a HP Laserjet 1320 locally connected to his pc.  The other has an HP Laserjet P2035n locally connected to his pc.  When they connect to a server running Windows Server 2003 64 bit, their local printers are not showing up.  I have confirmed the printers is selected on local resources under Remote Desktop Options.

I have other users that see their local printers and are able to print.

I am getting an error code 1111 in event manager.

When I attempt to load the printer driver for the HP Laserjet P2035n on the Win 2003 server, I can not proceed because it is only a plug and play driver.
I can not connect the printer directly to the server.  It is a VM at a remote datacenter.

I have loaded the Terminal Server Printer Driver Redirection with no luck.

I have tried the Microsoft Fixit 50180 that does the following:
Follow these steps:
1.Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2.Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Default\AddIns\RDPDR3.On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4.Type FilterQueueType, and then press ENTER.
5.On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6.Type FFFFFFFF, and then click OK.
7.Close the Registry Editor.
8.Restart your computer.

Still no luck.

Please help!

For the P2035n, you can download the full software.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=3662025&swItem=lj-65873-1&prodNameId=3662026&swEnvOID=2093&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=3

This will extract to a folder where you specify. Once extraced, cancel the install that starts after, then install the printer and point to the extracted folder for the driver.

Driver  for 1320 is not compatible with the 64 bit system.

Driver for 2035n installed, user can now see the printer when connected but nothing prints to it.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry, missed the x64 comment. Here is the link for that version of the same driver:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=410622&prodNameId=410627&swEnvOID=1060&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=lj-55460-2

On the second one, when you go to print, does the job show up in the queue at all? Are there any error messages?

It does not show as going to the printer at all.

Installed the 64 bit driver for the 1320 and will have user test.

Does a test print directly from the server work?

UPD did not work.

I had to delete the fake printer on lpt1 on the server and re-add it with the original driver but when selecting the printer type during the install not select the P2305n, just the P2305.

Both are now printing.  Thank You!

For the P2035n I had to install it as just 2035 to get to work.
