Is there any solution to mask .exe extension on a Visual object based website?
Hello there,
I have the following problem.
We have a customer, who's website is built in Visual Objects(VIO), and the problem is that right now they want to optimize their site via SEO.
Their fear is that using links through *.exe file can be detrimental to the crawlability/usability of the website from the perspective of number of search engines, due to security concerns for search engine visitors primaly.
Actually I couldn't find any reference on that, but I can understand their view also.
So my question is there a way to somehow mask the exe file, via external php call or something?
Sadly the exe file is that heart of the whole website, it's runs the database and also the layout, we cannot ignore it while optimizing.
The site is www.indexems.com.au
Thank you in advance
