We have a site which is being deleted by someone accidently.
We need to restore this individual site under particular site collection.
Need to know step by step process and preferably technet links for this process.
I am not sure if we have used stsadmin for backup and restore. Can we find this by anyway?
Please share the info for both MOSS 2007 and MOSS 2010.
Thanks in advance.

    Accepted Solution

If you aren't backing up your SQL Databases or using out of the box SharePoint backups, you are out of luck.  There isn't a way to recover a deleted site.

In SharePoint 2010 SP1, there is a site deletion recycle bin, which would have covered you.
