Joomla, cant login in front-end

Hi experts,

I just noticed that i cant login in Front-end of my site. Ive tried with admin and regular user credentials but i constantly get the error "Invalid Token". I restored the site on a previous backup, but i still get that error. Any help in this matter will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Can you login to the backend with the admin credentials?

yes, i can login in backend. I send the pass to the admin email, and i reset the password using the new token. I was able to login in the front end one time, then at a second attempt i got again "Invalid Token". It seems its modified everytime i logout...is that possible? and why it hapens suddenly? i didnt had this issue before

Try this:

Try deleting all of the cache in the system and the internet history from the browser.

Then when you login...and it's successful...log out...repeat.

If you get the invalid token error...just refresh the page and it should let you in...

Let me know what happens when you clear out cache, and browser history...

Hi Nukit,

I did what you said. I even used with other browsers (i didnt used them before to navigate through my site, so no cache, no history, nada) . I got the same error.
Any idea?
Thank you.

Ok, so when you got the error, did you try to do a refresh of that same screen?

Also, can you copy the error and paste it in here for us to see or is it just "Invalid Token"

Check out this post:

http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=251273

Find that code and change it to the one mentioned in the forum...

You should be able to find the code at this location:

modules/mod_login/tmpl/default.php

Line 76...

Lert me know if that helps...

Can you provide us with a link to your site?

Also, have you installed any new plugins, components, or modules lately?

Have you upgraded your PHP, or MySQL, or Joomla versions recently?

raulmondaAuthor Commented:

Are you using IE8 or IE7?

raulmondaAuthor Commented:
nope, Chrome, mozila, IE9. can you try login/logout few times? if you can without problems, thats means im having a local problem on my PC :(

Andrew DerseIT ManagerCommented:
Ah, it's happening now...2nd time I went in fine...third time...invalid token...for IE9

Definitely something with the cache or the database...

Are you using cache or has that been disabled on the website?

You can disable it in the Global Configurations.
