Leading Smartboard Manufacturer?

We are looking at smartboards for our conference room and I am looking for recommendations from people who have gone through evaluations and can recommend some good vendors.

We completed an on site demonstration about two months ago. And just ordered our second SmartBoard.
First, ours is on a moveable stand. I can't tell you how handy this is as once the users saw this, it had to be in every conference room for every meeting. So the wheeled stand made it great in that respect.

Connectivity: You can connect to a SmartBoard server or pc (each differs in price with respects to licensing). In this manner whatever is shown on the primary desktop is displayed to the screen.

Sharing: You can share or view the Smartboard screen simply by allowing users to view your desktop. This is not unlike GoToMeeting.

Webcam: You can attach a webcam to the smartboard (ours is attached at the top/center) for meetings.

Lighting: You can have your overhead lights on and the SmartBoard works without glare, etc. It is NOT like a projector screen in that the room has to be darkened.

The board itself: This board is made of very scratch resistant material. It was actually designed for classroom use (Kindergarden and on). So incidental scratches are not an issue.

Markers: It comes with four markers that can "draw" on the board. By that I mean, if you pick up the red marker the board electronically senses the color and adjusts as used.

Interaction: You can cut and paste, etc. just like you would on your pc; excpet this can be done directly on the board (from whomever is giving the presentation, etc.)

Sound: There are speaker ports for audio.

You can find a local vendor through their site.

And if you are in the Northwest you can contact our representative.

If nothing else she can point you to a representative in your area.
Finally, they left the SmartBoard with us along with what is called a "podium" for about two weeks so that we could test it out and get feedback. You should inquire about that as well when you contact them.
