Network Map Software

Hi,

I am looking for some network mapping software that will be able to discover and map our entire network.  However, a number of our end sites are behind NAT and this is where most software seems to fall down.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt

This is a free trial version which is great , it's from Solarwinds , a leading company in network management and is called : LAN Surveyor.

Hi both,

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm out of the office now until tomorrow when I'll try to give them a look however do you have direct experience of using these tools, specifically in an environment with network items behind NAT?  Will they be able to discover the end site devices behind NAT?

Cheers
You should be able to snmp the router which should let you see client devices through it's arp table. I don't think you can connect to those devices but that's a little over my head.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Although this didn't give us exactly what we needed this due to our network configuration not any issues with your answer.

Thanks again,

Matt
