I have a Netgear DG834G VPN router (v5). I have a Windows 7 laptop. I would like to VPN to my router so that when im working away I can be on the local network. <br />
<br />
Can anyone recommend a simple way to do this. Is there any way with the Windows 7 software and configuration with the router?<br />
<br />
I have downloaded and tried the Netgear ProSafe software but not with much luck and I have to say I really do not like the interface and working of the software.<br />
<br />
Any suggestions would be greatly received.<br />

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely.
