unable to open your default email folders. the information store could not be opened

this is on sbs2008
outlook 2003

I am logging on with a user that has full administrative rights.

I have :
1 - removed office
2- re installed office
3- removed all profiles
4 - created new profiles
5 - tried starting outlook with no email support

i am having the same problem.

please help!!

    It's because Exchange 2007/2010 require RPC encryption but it is not enabled by default in Outlook 2003.

    would it just be easier to upgrade to 2007 ?

    You could do that too, it is a lot better than 2003.
