Hi Experts

See NDR message below I’ve not had problems communicating with this person before. I wonder if the reference to wellington.xxxxxxxx.org.nz (I've used xxxxxxx to hide the actual address) has anything to do with this.
How can I confirm the issue is at the recipients end and why has this happened.

wellington is the authoritative server that is refusing to accept this email by rule. What rule? Dunno...maybe a whitelist/blacklist issue? Says user invalid though....leads me to believe the username is wrong?

thanks gcoltharp, wellington.arthritis.org.nz is at the senders (Rob Mitchell's) end, this location no longer exist as far as I'm aware, it was deestablished a few months ago but still appears as an entry in my mailbox address list, out of interest, subsequent emails sent later to Charmaine appeared to have been delivered fine with no further bounce backs, and no changes made?

Hard to tell especially if it is working now. But that NDR clearly implies that wellington made the decision that this wasnt going to happen because the user was invalid.

can this please be closed, the issue was at the recipients email end at that particular time, not the wellington.arthritis.org.nz end as suggested by gcoltharp,
