I'm trying to generate a CSR for a windows 2008 member server for RDP sessions. When requesting the CSR on the member server I get the following error:
Certificate types are not avaliable.

When I try to request it fromt he DC I get the following error:
The wizard can not be started because of one or more of the following conditions:
- There are no trusted CA's avaliable
- You do not have perms
-The avaliable ca's issue certs for which you do not have perms

My account is a domain admin. Really not sure where to go form here, thanks!

> Try requesting for the certificate from the machine where the CA is installated

If still not working...
If you haven't used the CA much, you can try uninstalling the CA
Reinstall the CA-Server again

ok, I got it to work but the resulting cert is not what I wanted. What I want to do is install a 3rd party (godaddy or simular) on 1 server for Remote Desktop sessions from the internet.
