How may I copy one mp3 file to iphone4s with itunes daily

Each day I would like to copy a single file from my Win7/iTunes-equipped workstation to my iPhone4s...just ONE file.  Each day the filename and size are identical.  I don't want to [continue] wip[ing]e out my music library on the iPhone, but just want to deposit this single file to listen to later.  Suggestions?

If you overwrite the file on your system and sincronize your iPhone the "newer" version should be updated on the iPhone.
Also you can copy the old file to another locationon your system and put the new file on the folder where itunes reads the data.
You will always need to synchronize you iPhone

That is true, and that did work.  But it requires deletion of all content on the iPhone, and then sitting there while my modest 656 files are replaced.  That makes so little sense...

I don't have an iPhone but I don't understand why it has to delete everything.
You just need to syncronize and, as far as my knowledge, it will only copy the new files and won't touch the old ones.
You need to verify your option on iTunes regarding the syncronizing schema

Yes, you are right; I haven't looked at the options.  For some silly reason, I wasn't expecting copying a single file to involve rocket science!
    Thank you...
