not ftp/file write access

If you dont have file write access than you wont be able to post your changes to the pages. If you just want to try on your end and see what your changes are doing to the page you can use Chrome Developer extension.

But cmsms allows me to edit CSS, templates, udts, pages using browser

But do you want to edit your javascripts or those included in lib folder of the cms?

I can only use browser
  Which JavaScripts can I edit on the server not my own client

Well, that I know yet, but do you want to edit javascripts which are part of the cmsms or javascript you add to your site managed via cmsms? The first thing seems to be impossible, the second one seems to be possible reading discussion in cmsms forum
