File Permissions error
I have a windows environment with a few MACs as desktops.
All the windows clients have no issues, but the MAC clients always seem to have issues.
I have a folder location that has full acess to all domain users (includes mac users).
There was a file that a mac user (the mac is bound to the domain), tried to upload to a folder on the windows 2003 R2 server, but it gives her error messages.
1. it prompts for a login.
2. "a newer item named "file xxx.pdf" already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with hte odler one you're moving? (but no other file exists there) If you press replace, you get to step #3.
3. the operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items.
I double checked, and all the mac users are part of the domain users group. I gave full access to the domain users group to the entire folder structure.
I've always had issues with macs accessing windows servers. What can be the issue?
