user receiving .dat files from only one Exchange server in a CAS array,

"Interesting to note that Bill receives some mail attachments as .dat files while on mccex02 from particular HP outside the network however when his was on mccex04 he received the attachment ok."

    I am wondering if this has to with the file type blocking issue that Microsoft instituted with Microsoft Office?  Yes, I know your post is about MS Exchange..  :)

    The weird thing is that he only gets .dat files from 2 people all other people he can receive attachments from. How do you explain that?
