cannot connect to wamp server on windows 7- is VS web developer 2010 express blocking?

I installed wamp to run some php on my windows 7 64 bit. I also installed netbeans 7 to run both java and php on netbeans and wamp. I recently installed vs web developer 21010 express. Now when I try to start up wamp to run some php, i get a 404 error when i type in localhost. i did a little research and made sure that IIS was not enabled. However, I am still getting the 404 error and also the wamp server is in yellow mode not green.

Is there any way to make all 3 of these programs co-exist peacefully on one machine?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe VisualStudio has a web server built in to it to run the .NET code.  There is a link on this page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/58wxa9w5%28v=vs.80%29.aspx that will tell you how to change the port that it uses.

Thanks Dave. I also set the port on apache wamp to 81 and that seemed to get it going.
