Hello

I want to create an object in cisco firewall which would contain a few ip ranges but I am unable to do it as I got an error which looks like "range" command is not accepted within the object. There is no problem with creating an object with single ip addresses inside, only when you try insert IP ranges it blows up. Is there any solution for it ?

Thanks
Chris

Did you try something like:

object-group network some_ranges
 network-object 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0
 network-object 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.128

That should define one or more ranges.
