install visio 2010 on rdp sesison host
hello,
i have installed visio 2010 standart on o 2008 r2 server. i have the correct key`s so no problem with activation. i installed it with change user /install option.
when i start it as a administrator it works correct. but when a user starts it. you see the pop up screen getting information and the progress bar( being configured). it runs and after that visio starts. if i cancel it visio starts. every time i a user starts visio this runs. it looks like it wants to configure something.
have i missed something in the installation ???

What happens if you try another admin account that has never logged into the server? Do you see the same install/config during the first load?
I'm guessing here, but this might be a fist time install/configure for a new user which "may" be normal. Now it may happen every time for an RDP session if every time they lo in they have a new profile (i.e. no local/no roaming profiles).
This may be the case. First time configuration. Is there a way around that, I'm not sure.

I will close this question because the problem was due to the program that we used to publish the link. ( res software) i had to enter a parameter that supresses the installer.
