I changed all settings as on
https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=ru&answer=77661

When trying a test account
A message box
Enter Network Password appears

Server: imap.gmail.com
User name: is correct
Password: is correct
but the box comes back and does not allow me to continue.

The process seems to have stopped at "Find outgoing mail server"
Please check that your port settings are correct:
In the E-mail account setup screen ( user info, server info etc. section) there is a button "More Settings". Selection will bring up a new screen "Internet E-mail Settings". Check the Outgoing server tab and the advanced tab, advanced tab settings attached to comment.

Not sure how I managed to get two same images>
Pardon me!
It seems like you used the "IMAP" setting on the "POP" setup.
Please use below settings

In other words, keep the current setup - just correct the settings
