CSS help with background image

I am using a backend program called Builder to make a Wordpress site. (iThemes.com makes it)

can somebody take a look at syked.com and tell me why the background image for "settle your case now" section is not lining up with the header image above it? It looks like it's pushed over to far to the left and is coming back around again on the right!

thank you in advance!

Use this for your CSS if you can:
.builder-module-html {
    background: url("http://www.syked.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/gry-bg.jpg") repeat-y scroll center center transparent;

Open in new window

Then your image is a little too wide so we need to scale it back about 5px:

.builder-module-image .builder-module-element img {
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 795px;
}

Open in new window

Then we need to remove the background image from the header:

.builder-module-image {
    /*background-image: url("http://www.syked.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/gry-bg1.jpg"); */
}

Open in new window

But now your bottom image is messed up. It looks like who or whatever sliced your image didn't do it properly. So you have a lot of inconsistent widths.

I am the one who sliced it. I'm not a designer and did not know any better.

So, moving forward-- I should re-slice the bottom image, the header and the background image?

Will that fix it without messing with the CSS?

Thank you so much for your time.

No problem really. I hope I didn't come off rude.  Yes, reslice all the images so that they are the same width. If your in Photoshop, use the guides to help you. But make sure that all of your widths are consistent otherwise, well you see what happens. :)

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

You weren't rude at all! Are you kidding me? I need help and I appreciate you.

Thank you LZ1.

If you don't mind terrible, I'm going to leave this question up while I do the widths, in case I screw it up further-- which is always an option for me!

No problem.  Don't leave it open for too long though, otherwise the moderators will classify it as abandoned and close it themselves.

Good luck!

Just about an hour or so. No longer!

Oh, that's fine then. Some people leave it open for weeks on end with no activity.  I didn't realize you'd be so quick.
