 being that

Columns in sheet 2 B = Track  C = Artist  D= Album

in sheet 1 there are 43656 rows
in sheet 2 there are 5593 rows

i need to remove the information that is in sheet 2 from sheet1 and put the difference in sheet 3

Does the entire row need to match, or is one of the fields going to be unique?

I don't know if there is a 1 step process for that. In excell you can remove or highlight the differences between two columns, that being said, you can remove from sheet 1 the duplicates and work with the conditional function to capture the differences and send to sheet 3.

Take a look on this Microsoft support site:

    I hope it helps.

    Couple of questions, please...
    (1) Is this a one-off, or will you be doing this regularly?
    (2) If the answer to (1) is "Yes", can you upload the file here?
