Hi

I am migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. I set up replication of public folder. All worked well.

I had to do a restoration of public folder. Since then the replication is not working.

I create new public contact folder on the Exchange 2003 It appeared in the hierarchy of the Exchange 2010 and for few minutes we could see the contents. But then the content is deleted.

So my user on the Exchange 2003 see all the contact but users on the Exchange 2010 see empty folder. And when I do a "Get-PublicFolderStatistics" on the 2010, The folder is realy empty.

Do you have idea?

Did you add replicas for that public folder and tried to force the replication.

Yes I have replicas. For now I disabled the replicas to use only the sync. And for now it's work.

When I look on the replication tab of one of public folder I see only one server (the 2003). Before I had both, the 2003 and the 2010.

I guess the 2003 is the master and if  I close it I lose my public folder.

I may be wrong?

Thier is no master in the public folder replication.Has all the PB replicated to exchange 2010.If so then you can remove PB from 2003

For intial replication you need to have both the servers.Once you decide to decomission exchange 2003.You remove exchange 2003.
