HP Deskjet 959c driver (RWW 'local printer' issues.)

Is there a way to install this printer driver without needing to plug it in to the machine?

I've got a Windows 7 32 bit virtual machine in the office which gets used as a remote terminal and I need to set up local printing via Remote Web Workplace (to a Win 7 64bit PC).

Unfortunately the RWWed VM does not see the local printer.

The HP 959c drivers are present and installed on the SBS 2008 box but they're not on the VM. I tried downloading drivers from the HP site to the VM but that site just says I need to plug the printer in, something that's simply not possible
a) for being on a VM
b) for not even in the same location.

So, am I still on the right track for downloading the drivers to the VM? If so, how?
If not, how do I get around this?

    Never mind.

    I've fixed it.

    on the VM...

Start > Devices and Printers > Add a Printer > Add a local Printer
Select Use an existing port (I picked LPT1) > [Next]
Look for print in list, if not there click [Windows Update] button.
Wait for it to finish. This came up with a 'can't find any new printer drivers' error first time over.
Try again (I left it 1 hour between tries. Not sure if this is relevant) and click [Windows Update] again. This time after a 10-20 minute wait, I got a very long list of possible printers of which the one I needed was present.
    Install driver
