The post button and comment container are both wider than desired here http://www.frugalmule.com/response-to-the-emails-concerning-my-dog/. Can someone tell me what code to change and explicitly how?

You would have to go to the Plugins section, choose Editor and the select the plugin in question. It should allow you to choose the file to edit. However, I would just use FTP to grab the file if at all possible.

I was afraid of that. The CK Editor has its own skins and the stuff you need to edit is in one of those files. It's not going to be able to be reached unless you have FTP access.

We are talking about the same thing. The code appears on line 151 of the editor.css file. Replace the entire block with my version.

I can only go by what my tools tell me. It may be that the CSS is a combination of output from a script and static files. If it is being generated by a script, then it's somewhere in the PHP files or JavaScript files associated with the plugin and we are now looking at a weird interaction between the built-in CSS of both your theme and plugin. Troubleshooting over the board gets hard to do.

I've provided video of what I see and done all I can too "over the board". I still want to try to solve this in that way as the amount you requested when I pressed the hire me button is not even close to my budget for this minor tweak.
The EE answer is as I gave it. Using firebug to isolate the CSS on that element and increasing the width to 100% fixes the issue. The problem is locating exactly where that CSS element is set by the plugin and the CK editor is a complicated animal. You could download the entire folder and use a text editor like Notepad++ to search for the string and edit that way.
But if you want me to get on a remote connection and assume responsibilty for the problem, then the price is as I quoted it.
