Deny the use of USB flash drives through GPO

I would like to use Group Policy to restrict the use of USB Flash drives on the end user workstations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can do it several ways through group policy, great blog here


Notice that it is easier if you can use group policy preferences.  If you have one 7 or 2008 box on the network you can use GPP.

There are third party tools that do a good job with endpoint protection too; but they are not native...and not always cheap
