Specifically for expert leakim971: jQuery -- bind method for click vs click method

What is the difference between:

click(function() {});

and

bind('click',function() {});

?

Also, would you mind taking a look at:

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Scripting/JavaScript/Jquery/Q_27414327.html

A solution has been given but I am struggling with implementation and the expert is not responding.

Both the same, bind is best used to if you want to apply the same function across two or more events for example "click,dblclick"

Hi knowIton,

Please don't create question specifically for someone :)
effx is right
You may look one more time at this page : http://api.jquery.com/bind/

The jQuery library provides shortcut methods for binding the standard event types, such as .click() for .bind('click').
