When I open a PDF on my Mac, I do not get an option to save the document to the network. It will only allow me to save to my Desktop.

How do I do this?

Thanks. Trying to save PDF to server

    Accepted Solution

Click on the button just to the right of the file name in your screen shot so that the arrow points up, not down.

you need to make sure the server or the network volume you are trying to save to is MOUNTED. You can mount it using apple + K keys and entering relevant credentials which you should have.

dropping the arrow down should list the servers/volumes for you.

Thanks! That was the trick I needed. All the shares were already mounted, but for some reason, you have to know this extra step to save a PDF.
