RD Web Access not working externaly

I have just set up a new server to RDP Web access.
Single server with RD session Host and RD Web access installed.
Port 80 and 443 forwarding through to the server from router.
Everything works fine from within the network.
Externaly the RD webpages gets displayed and users can log on.
When they try to open a published app or desktop they get the following error message.
"The remote computer could not be found. Please contact your helpdesk about this error."
I can RDP directly to the server externaly using the IP address but not using RD Web access.
Anyone got some suggestions on where to start looking to fix this.
Event logs show no errors.
