I can not email emails from my domain.local.

I can not email to the emails in my same active directory user . for example if my email is a@contoso.com a can not email to b@contoso.com everything else works fine. I can email gmail, yahoo ...
sbs 2008 w/ exchange 2007

If you are the only one that is having the problem on the network then I would think it is Antivirus or Spam filtering software causing the problem.  If everyone is having the problem then I would think one of the Exchange connectors are mis-configured.  

I know it is not much help.
After seeing GetSum BloodLust's comment, I agree with him.  Your DNS on the Exchange server is not right.

how do i make   a local domain DNS resolution.?

the gateway is the server with the correct internet fowarders.

do you have an internal domain controller running a DNS server?
yes is runinng dns server with ip forwarders.
