How create the partition bigger than 2 TB

I need to create a LUN which is connect to the IBM SAN in windows 2008  ent server greater than 2 TB. When I created and mapped the LUN I got the message the LUN should be less than 2 TB

    hello jobby1.
    have you tried  using the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator in the Win 2008 R2 server and access the LUN?

    You got the message from the SAN or the initiator? DS3000 range for example was restricted to sub 2TB LUNs until recent firmware upgrade. You don't say what IBM SAN it is.
