Good day,

I have installed Lync server on my existing network.

My network topology
Windows 2003 AD
Exchange 2010

Everything works fine.
The only problem with adding users into my list.

Hey Izzat, this looks incredibly like an address book sync problem because it appears that your problem is not adding people to the list, but finding them instead.  Most of the time there are errors that come up but not always.  I would look around Experts exchange and the technet forums for Lync Address book and get some ideas from there.  If you can verify if that is what it is we can try to help further.

    Accepted Solution

Hey djjackfrwmml, I solved it myself.

Security permission on Lync shared folder was wrong. Everyone should have Read Only permission. After giving right permission all contacts appeared in the list.

Found that shared folder on Lync server had wrong permission settings.
