how do i find my GSM7248 switch on a remote network after the power went and it lost its config (i think). I say that because it no longer ping backs from the previously configured ip.

From what I recall it should resolve an IP address via DHCP, so check your DHCP servers leases and see if the device is in there, if there is no DHCP server available it should use 169.254.100.100 according to what I can find on the net so you could add a secondary ip to a server connected to that switch in the same range and connect to it that way.

Thats the quick start guide.
The below is the address if there is no dhcp server available.
Default IP : 169.254.100.100
Subnet     :  255.255.0.0

As per the docs snmp isnt enabled by default so I think your going to need to get access to your switch before you do anything like that. Do you have a DHCP server on your network as you should be able to look on there for the device, or you could do a network scan for ips that have port 80 open on them.
