Gentle Zoom in transition using JQuery

does anyone know how to create an image zoom in effect like on using jquery...

just a gentle zoom in effect really

    They're using FLASH to do the zoom effect.

    It is called the "Ken Burns Effect", after the TV documentarian who uses it (to the Nth degree).

    It can also be done with Javascript

    Google for "Javascript Ken Burns Effect".
