Unable to select or de-select 'Always Available Offline' option even though it is available

Strange one this folks. CSC cache has been reset accordingly, profile re-created etc.

I've enabled Offline Files and everything looking good, in other words I have the option available to me on the drop down to make a file or folder available offline. When I select the option though it appears as though the instruction has been processed but if I immediately right click on the file in question the option is still 'un-ticked'.

As you can see tried the usual stuff after the initial CSC became corrupt.

Any chance of a permissions issue to the folder?

And caching is enabled on the share?

Thanks for the prompt response !

No all permissions are OK - I'm part of systems admin group and all other activities are possible. I've also tried this on multiple localities on the network.

It simply seems as though the abiltiy to select the option or de-select it has been removed rather than a file permission thing. What I've also been able to do is to make the old profile live once more and the settings on there were to allow some files to be synced. The sync actually begins there no problem (an I:\ drive was selected to sync) but on that scenario I'm unable to 'un-tcik' the 'Available Offline Option' it permanently stays ticked ! As stated it's as if the option on the drop down is not working properly - wondering if there is a way to run this from a command or elsewhere?

I've reverted to using the new profile having once more re-initialised the CSC cache - which by the way is working fine.

So the new profile you can untick the setting?

On the new profile I can'y untick or tick the setting; on the old profile it is exactly the same.

In the end we got no-where with this and resulted in re-building the client.

There are fundamenta lissues with syncronisation within Windows 7 and Sync Center. We have logged an official request via Technet. Any response received can be provided to this forum.

Unfortunately if your client gets into this condition there appears no other means to sort than to re-build.
