c# timer for functions

I am having some issues with some code taking too long.  Is there a simple way to time functions so that I can see where the bottlenecks are?  I am working on a console application and don't mind outputting to a text file.

Thanks!

If you have visual studio then what version do you have?  The more expensive ones have a profiler built in -  a tool that will time functions and give you a tremendous ammount of feedback.

You can print some text after and before major process with time stamping which will give you idea on which process is taking more time
