Unable to connect using the web client on a customer's VPN

I recently installed the Citrix 11 web client on a laptop given to me by a client.  The client has a VPN installed on the laptop that allows me to access their network remotely.

I need citrix to connect to my home office.  The link I use is 'similar' to  https://ctxserver.abcd.com:446

The link brings me to the Citrix login screen fine if I am NOT on the VPN (using local WIFI).

However, does not work when I am logged into the VPN.

When I try to navibate to the site, nothing happens for about a full minute and them I am presented with the screen below.

What do I need to ask their IT dept to do?  Something is blocked I am assuming?

Can you browse other websites freely?  If not, maybe you're going through a Proxy.  HTTPS is typically port 443, so maybe there blocking non "standard" ports.  Can you resolve the address when VPN'ed in (i.e. nslookup ctxserver.abcd.com)?
