Windows Mobile 7.1 - Delete Photos

I have a Windows Mobile 7.1 application where the user takes photos and saves them to isolated storage and to the camera roll using

library.SavePictureToCameraRoll(fileName, e.ImageStream);

Once the photo has been uploaded back to the server I want to delete from the phone to prevent the memory from filling up.  I delete from isolated storage using

var isoFile = IsolatedStorageFile.GetUserStoreForApplication();
if (isoFile.FileExists(name))

Which seems to work OK but how do I remove from the camera roll and do I need to?

Thanks for any advice

    Accepted Solution

    You cant delete from the camera roll (MS gave no access to do this)

    Ok - I guess the question is do I need to ever save to the camera roll - I only allow the user to view the picture within the application and/or if I delete the photo will that mess up the camera roll?

    No you do not need to save the photo.
