Hi Experts
We are trying to create a SQL linked server between SQL server 2008 express and Advantage databse server.
We can successfully create the linked server within SQL server but do not seem to be able to see any tables in the direcroty we specify that in the linked server properties.
Any advice greatly received

Are you trying to see the tables using MS SQL object browser?  Because there is a good chance that won't work - it has to do with the capabilities of the Sybase drivers.  A better test is to attempt to query a table via the linked server and see if you can do that successfully.
