DBMS is not supported by your current installation?

I have a user who logs onto many different computers because we have many offices. But when he does this, the theme of Windows changes, and none of the applications seem to work, Outlook, wordperfect, internet explorer or anything. I clicked on our case managemnt software, Needles, which uses SQL Anyywhere by Sybase, and it gave me the error code DBMS is not supported by your current installation.

I thought that this was just affecting his profile on his computers at that remote office, so i tried logging him into a computer at the main office and the same thing happend. I really dont know how to go about troubleshooting this issue as i've never seen it before. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would save the contents of his profile folder on the network to a safe place, then delete it and log him back in.  You should delete his profile on the PC before logging him back in.  This should pull down a new profile to his network drive.  Then you can copy back parts of his profile such as Desktop, Favorites, My Documents, etc.

You might need to locate every PC he logged into and delete any local profiles created there.
