I am trying to deploy SSRS reports from VS on SQL 2008R2, Server is 2008R2 as well
I receive the following  error:
" the permissions granted to to user "domain\user" are insufficient for performing this action."

I have my paths mapped and my test users has full permissions.

Please advise, thank you!!!

I am also deploying the reports from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 in case that matters.
My permissions are identical to the account that authenticates and starts up SSRS on SQL 2005.

I ended up using RUNAS ADMINISTRATOR and it worked!
