CachedRowSet Timestamp problem

All,
Is there a workaround for exception when attempting to read a timestamp from a CachedRowSet ?

if(type == 93){                                                              //timestamp                                                        cell.setCellValue(outputResultsCrs.getTimestamp(i));
}

java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.sql.TIMESTAMP cannot be cast to java.sql.Timestamp

Try
