WYSIWYG Editing

I'm looking for a WYSIWYG post editor and instructions for implementation http://screencast.com/t/KJA8t8ZB.  The editor in the back end of wordpress shown here is rudimentary at best.  Assistance is greatly appreciated.

It's a WordPress plugin, add it via the normal plugin method.

Screenshots are there too.

Some of your frustration has to do with a lack of familiarity and also web design.  There isn't a table button in the default editor, but there are several plugins that address that.  You make fonts bigger by applying header codes to them or by applying CSS classes which you first declare in the theme CSS file.  It's not like ms word....you have to do more preplanning.  I don't even know how to address your last complaint because I don't know what rudiamentary functions you this are missing.  The visual editor is only a way to get content in there with the most common HTML tags.  Really fancy formatting is now done through CSS and few visual editors let you do that effectively.

You should read the following Codex article and pay attention to the two plugins mentioned.  Those plugins extend the default visual editor greatly.

I like what I am seeing here http://screencast.com/t/CKqHmAD3PQ1N and we have the latest CKEditor plugin installed and activated but what I am seeing here http://screencast.com/t/3gfuDGfmzLj doesn't seem even close.  How do I enable all those options in the back-end where I go to make new posts?

Which editor do you want to use?  CK or TinyMCE?

Try the TinyMCE Advanced plugin linked through the Codex article.

It isn't clear what it looks like or how to install it?

I didn't have much hope for that but it's pretty darn good!  Thank you for the suggestion.
