DFS File Recovery options

I have a Windows 2008 R2 Sever running DFS Management. I also have a Windows 2003 Server. Replication is set up between these two servers. Recently I setup a new replication between a folder on the Windows 2003 and 2008 servers. The folder was called PO and existed on both servers with the same name prior to the replication being setup. There was data in the folder PO on the 2003 server and different data in the PO folder on the 2008 server. When I kicked the the replication process off the data in the PO folder on the 2008 Server was overwritten by the contents of the 2003 sever PO folder. I did not make a copy of this data prior to the replication happening. Is there any way of recovering this data? There are no recent backups either.

Thanks
