I am running SBS 2011 - we use Message Labs smtp server for our send connector - we have issues with a handful of emails not being delivered through this connector - can I create a new send connector which will only deliver to these domains via dns - I would still like all of the other emails to go via Message Labs.  i do not want to change all emails to be delivered via dns

that's easy, create a send connector , in the address space put only the domains you want delivered by dns and assign to them a cost of 1 and in the network set the conenctor to use MX

only these domains will flow thru this connector, all others will still use the mesagelabs one

If the message labs priority is 1 will this be a problem

    Accepted Solution

no, message labs should be priority 1 with an address space of *

the other one will have a priority of 1 with address space etc...

this would do exactly what you want
