Exchange 2007 Offsite Backups where the Backup Software Does Not Flush Logs??

A client of mine wants to switch to an Offsite Backup company and I am learning that their backup solution, while capable of backing up Exchange and providing Mailbox level recovery, does not flush the transaction logs as a part of that backup process. Obviously, circular logging is not an option.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this? The client has a contract with this offsite backup company so I'm stuck with them for the next 6 months. Thanks!
