Testing Exchange 2010 SP1 retention policy tags

I vaguely remember in Exchange 2003 that I could set a retention policy to just log what the results would be. It was extremely helpful and I don't see this option in Exchange 2010 SP1. I basically want to know how much storage I would gain by putting a 3 year retention policy on a particular users email account.

I don't want to delete any data until I know how much storage I'll gain (or how much whitespace I'll gain)

Exchange 2007 and 2010 no longer provide any type of report only feature
Disk is considered cheap now so storage isn't as big a concern in most cases and the main focus has shifted to data retention policies and how long companies want to retain data
