Hyper V integration will not install

I have a base virtual machine on server 2003 that we use for testing. When I go to install it on Server 2008 r2 hyper v, it will run but I can't install the integration services because Windows wants me to unistall the integration service that Virtual Server (2003) installed. Because I have no mouse, I can't navigate to add remove programs.

I can't find a keyboard shortcut to bring up the control panel. Any ideas?

You can get to add remove programs using a combination of the windows key, arrow keys, enter key and  tab key. You may need to connect to the VM in full screen mode for the windows key to act on the VM rather than the host m/c.

You should also get mouse control if you manage locally from Hyper-V Manager, not over RDP. Hyper-V Manager can be installed on Windows Vista, 7, Windows 2008, and 2008 R2. You can then attach Hyper-V manager to the host to manage the VMs.

Thanks Kevin, the RDP was the killer. I guess I have to stand in front of the server for new configs.

Or install Hyper-V Manager on your desktop. If you are running XP, upgrade to Windows 7 and run Hyper-V manager on your desktop. ;-)
