Problem with fax machine

Hi we have a fax machine in our school and this is the error message we keep getting..

it is a canon fax phone l90 and the alarm light keeps blinking in red and this is the error message we get

received in memory
supply rec paper
Cassette:

how do i fix this problem....

i think it means there are fax stored in memory but we aren't gettting any...

It looks like it needs paper in the "Cassette" (which I'm guessing is the paper tray).

Well, that seems to be what it's complaining about..  Can you try legal paper?  Are you sure there isn't a paper jam?  It's also possible the paper sensor is bad and can't "see" the paper...
EVERYTHING seems to be fine....not sure why is that showing up

...is there an error code to work with?  If not, I guess I'd go with checking the paper size in the cassette versus what the device thinks it has.  Barring that, Canon Customer Care is at 1-800-828-4040 until 8pm!
Have you tried turning it off, unplugging the power cable from the wall and then reconnecting it and turning it back on? Sometimes that works and resets all the sensors.
