Build Errors in VS2010

Hi Everyone.  I have recently installed VS2010 pro on my computer.  I made a website and when I go to build it, I keep getting an error that says 'Could not load assembly' App_Web_XXX' .  Make sure that it is compiled before accessing the page.

I never had this problem with VS2008 and I am confused as to what it means.  Everything I have searched on the web says that this is an issue with the publishing server but, I am running this locally and have not uploaded to my server yet.

Can anyone help shed some light on this for me?

Thanks

I am sorry for not refreshing my "brain cache"...that would be WebSiteCache

For Windows 7 that should be something like this:

c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebSiteCache\<projectname>

Is this a Web Site model or Web Application model (no project file or project file)?  I would start by removing the contents of vswebcache folder.  The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\VSWebCache\.  This is a temporary area that gets recreated when you build, so you shouldn't need to worry about deleting all the files/folders.

Hi LearnedOne,  it is a Web Site model.  No project file.  Also, I am running on Windows7 Pro and I am not able to find a VSWebCache folder.

Thanks so much.  Sorry, it took me a while to get back to this project.
