TCP/IP Services Applicaton encountered a problem tcpsvcs.exe SBS 2003

Hi Everyone,

My Windows SBS 2003 starts with the following error...

"TCP/IP Services Applicaton encountered a problem tcpsvcs.exe"

... and services such as SMTP, DHCP server, Net Logon and others won't start.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re-Running the CEICW (Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard) under server management | internet and e-mail | connect to the Internet, has fixed this same problem on other SBS 2003 server. No changes need to be made just re-run it, verifying selections at each step. The CEICW does all SBS basic network configuration.
There was a coding error in SP1 that will knock down mail and DHCP.. What Service pack are you running? If you are using SP1, update to SP2..

Hi Guys, thanks for the help.  I'm sure your solutions would have worked.  In this case, upon further investigation, we determined that the OS RAID was failing and causing file corruption all over the place.  We have since replaced the server.  Thanks again for your help.
